Ladies! These Are 9 Lipstick Tricks Every Girl Needs To Know About

Ladies in our contemporary world cannot do without a lipstick. However some of them may just be using it wrongly. These are certain tricks you have to know.

Ladies – we love lipsticks! there are many lipstick tricks that maybe unbeknown to many and knowing them will definitely make your lipstick application routine much easier and give you a better look.

Here are some of them:

1. To prevent lipstick from staining your teeth

We have all been in a situation where someone told us that we have some lipstick on the teeth in the middle of the conversation. To avoid the lipstick from coming onto your teeth, once you apply lipstick, simply put your index finger (a clean one) in your mouth, grip it with your lips and take it out. The amount of lipstick that goes onto your finger is what would’ve gone onto your teeth.

2. Apply concealer or primer before applying lipstick

Have you ever bought a lipstick shade only to get home and realize that it was not the color you were going for? Simply start by putting on a base on your lips. It acts like a plain canvas. If you don’t have a primer or concealer, I always say, you can wing it with a wee bit of foundation. Just a little bit! Once you create that base, the color of your lip color will appear just like it looked on the packaging.

3. Use a lip liner

Trace out your lips with a lip liner before applying the lipstick. It makes them appear fuller. Be careful, however, not to over-trace so as not to look like you had a botched lip surgery!

4. Blot in between applications

If you want your lipstick to last all day, or at least for the better part of the day, blot in between applications. Simply apply lipstick, blot with tissue paper, apply the second time and blot again.

5. When your lipstick breaks

Don’t we all hate that?! Never throw away a broken lipstick. Personally, when a lipstick breaks, I put it in a small container and smash it in making it look like a paste and voila! You could also do it like a pro, by melting the edge of the broken piece with a lighter, fixing it back o the other piece and melting where they merge.

6. To remove a lipstick stain

You know that annoying moment when you’re removing makeup and the lipstick stain just won’t come off? Instead of splurging on expensive makeup removers, simply put vaseline on a piece of tissue paper and rub off the matte lipstick. You could also apply some hairspray on a piece of clothing, leave it for a few seconds and use the piece of fabric to remove the lipstick stain.

7. When applying matte lipstick

We all know how uncomfortable and dry matte lipstick feels sometimes. To avoid that dry feeling, use a little bit of your lip balm before applying the matte lipstick. This will keep your lips hydrated and prevent that dry uncomfortable feeling.

8. Powder around your lip edges

Once you’re done applying lipstick, powder around your lip edges to leave a nice clean polished look.

9. Exfoliate lips before application

Flaky lips are certainly not the prettiest sight. Before applying your lipstick, make sure you exfoliate your lips. The easiest way is using a toothbrush to rub your lips gently in a circular motion. You can either use a clean wet toothbrush or use a dry toothbrush with vaseline. Once they’re nice and smooth, you can then go ahead and apply your lipstick.

NEW MUSIC: DJ KHALED FEAT. NICKI MINAJ, CHRIS BROWN, AUGUST ALSINA, JEREMIH, FUTURE, & RICK ROSS – ‘DO YOU MIND’

Special posse alert! Proving his star-nabbing ability once again, DJ Khaled links up with some MAJOR players—Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future, and Rick Ross—for his latest release, “Do You Mind.”

Over a sample of Lil Jon’s “Lovers and Friends,” Nicki kicks off the track with vivid details about her much-discussed relationship with Meek Mill, and she isn’t shy about any of it. “Eat the cake and he suck on my toes, yes,” she rhymes. “Hittin’ them home runs, I be like ‘Go Mets!’ / I want a dude that still kiss me when he mad / Type to cop me diamonds, he can miss me with them bags.”

Breezy handles the melodic hook. “Baby you should be up in my bed,” he sings. Then August Alsina and Jeremih link up for a verse, while Future and Rick Ross deliver some rhymes in another. Finally, Nicki comes back around to sing for the track’s finale.

The posse cut isn’t the only star-powered track on DJ Khaled’s album Major Key, which is due Friday. Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Jay Z, Jeezy, Nas, Jadakiss, Fabolous, and Wiz Khalifa are among the album’s many guest stars.

Betty Wright takes it to church with her hair-raising hook, and K-Dot spits some powerful bars that also touch on police brutality (“Law enforcement that forces us, tortures us”).

“This is the original recording of ‘Thats Not Luv’ on the original beat mixed and mastered,” wrote the Miami producer. “This version has a much more raw sound compared to the Fabolous S.O.U.L. Tape version or the Trae Tha Truth version. I thought it would be dope to share this song in its original glory with the fans.”

“Ni**as is out here dying,” he raps. “From police that flash the siren / And pull up and just start firin’ / Ni**as murkin’ each other, in murky water I try and swim / How the fuck do I look when I brag to you about some diamond? / Said all that I could say, now I play with thoughts of retirement.”

REPORT: MEEK MILL TRIED TO BLOCK DRAKE AFTER-PARTY IN PHILADELPHIA

What’s got Drake and Meek Mill “Charged Up” once again?

According to TMZ, the Dreamchasers boss reignited the feud by trying to block the 6 God from having an after-party in Philadelphia while on the “Summer Sixteen Tour.”

According to the report, which cites insiders in both crews, Meek’s camp didn’t just ask clubs not to host a Drake after-party in the city. They also reportedly made calls to “several hundreds of their homies in town” and requested a “show of force” at the Wells Fargo Center, where “Summer Sixteen” was held.

Apparently, Drake grew irate when Mill’s team warned his camp not to be disrespectful while in Philly. Sources say that’s why the 6 God called Meek a “pussy” in Washington, D.C. and why he dissed him further in Philadelphia.

Men claiming to be part of Meek’s Dreamchasers crew did in fact share videos mocking Drake outside of the concert venue. Mill then seemed to allude to this with a subsequent post on Instagram. “THAT COMMERCIAL TALK CANT EFFECT THE KID,” he wrote. “MY HOOD WAS OUT LAST NIGHT!”

Drizzy did not host an after-party in Philadelphia, after all, though it’s unclear whether Meek’s plan was directly linked to that decision.

Meanwhile, the “Summer Sixteen Tour” rolls on. Tonight, Drake and Future are in Greensboro and the run will continue through Oct. 15, when it ends in Newark.

NEW MUSIC: ALICIA KEYS FEAT. KANYE WEST & TRAVIS SCOTT – ‘IN COMMON (REMIX)’

Alicia Keys, Kanye West, and Travis Scott have something “In Common.”

On the premiere episode of his new .wav radio program on Beats 1, La Flame released the remix to “In Common,” which blends all three styles over the original’s production. Here, Yeezus also draws inspiration from Birdman’s infamous “Breakfast Club” tirade.

“Folks all up in our business,” he raps. “Yeezy Season, I’m trendin’ / I bet you they respek the name now / So are we done or we finished?”

As if that wasn’t enough, Mr. West also plays with words while discussing his controversial “Famous” music video.

“No matter what anybody say,” he raps. “We been through shit we can’t make up / And at the end of the night, babe, we’ll be back in bed like we famous.”

Earlier on the program, Scott also premiered his new solo cut “The Hooch” and his remix to Usher’s “No Limit.”

VIDEO: JIDENNA – ‘CHIEF DON’T RUN’

All hail the chief.

Fans know Jidenna as the “Classic Man,” but now they’ll know him as the “Chief” in his latest video for “Chief Don’t Run.”

Donning his dapper attire, Jidenna uses his latest visual to share his rags-to-riches story by way of flashbacks to his poverty-stricken youth.

“Me and mom in the shack in the woods, bro,” he raps. “I was sleeping on the floor with the oven door open, while I dreamt about the places that I would go.”

But “Chief Don’t Run” also addresses police relations, with the Wondaland signee playing everyone from a police officer to a man being arrested on the hood of a cop car.

“Chief Don’t Run” is a single off Jidenna’s upcoming debut album, Long Live the Chief, due this fall. Last month, the singer/rapper also unleashed the video for “Little Bit More.”

VIDEO: G-EAZY – ‘CALM DOWN’

Bay Area, stand up.

After making cameos in YG’s “FDT (Part 2)” and Britney Spears’ “Make Me…” videos, G-Eazy reps his hometown in the visual for “Calm Down,” a single off When It’s Dark Out.

The black-and-white clip was shot in the Bay, with cameos from hometown heroes E-40, Too $hort, and the late Mac Dre’s mother, Wanda Salvatto.

“Fuck it, I’m the coldest white rapper in the game since the one with the bleached hair,” boasts Young Gerald.

G-Eazy’s own mom, Suzanne Olmsted, also makes an appearance alongside aerial shots, dancers, bike riders, and lowriders.

“Calm Down” also shouts out non-Bay Area celebrities. “Having visions of fucking an A-list singer,” he raps. “Kardashian, or a Jenner / But ‘Ye’s got Kim, Tyga swooped up Kylie / So there’s one left, watch me go get her.”

Eazy is finally enjoying some down time after his “When It’s Dark Out Tour” and “Endless Summer Tour.” But the rest won’t last long. He recently told Rap-Up that he plans on releasing a mixtape and an album soon.

NEW MUSIC: REMY MA – ‘OOOUUU (REMIX)’

“Ooouuu!” Remy Ma is shaking off her haters with a brand new freestyle to Young M.A.’s buzzworthy jam.

Spitting over the original’s hard-hitting production, Mrs. Mackie unleashes beast mode bars.

“Quick to smack a ho, even Joe know,” she rhymes. “Been doing that since he was spitting ‘Flow Joe’ / Y’all fuck for free, that pussy promo / Jermaine Dupri, your whole career’s So So.”

Remy is not the only star gravitating to the new banger. Just days ago, French Montana released his remix to the M.A. cut.
